The next ICCHP will be the ICCHP'98 a part of the IFIP'98 World Computer Congress (31 August - 4 September 1996 in Vienna and Budapest).
ICCHP'96 took place July 17-19, 1996 at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz,
Austria. ICCHP'96 was the fifth in a series of highly successful and well-attended conferences.
After four conferences held in Vienna and Zurich, the 5th International
Conference on Computers Helping Persons with special needs has been hosted
by the City of Linz. The Conference was held in together with other events like the "3rd International Computer Camp" (ICC) and a medical and technical
exhibition. The participants got involved in an international exchange on current knowledge and
research concerning the implementation and evaluation of computer systems
for the integration of people with special needs.
