...is a
simple and practical learning and training programme.
Goals
The aim of
this programme is to acquire the essentials to master the basic tasks on a
computer without help.

For people
of all ages and professions who have never before worked on a computer.

The
above learning contents cover the most important areas so that each PC-Start
graduate is able to handle simple tasks on a computer
without help.
Concept
The PC-Start
is a learning and training programme in the form of a course book. At the end
of the programme you will receive a confirmation paper.
This
confirmation paper is issued by the training centre whose course the candidate
follows. A form for the confirmation is included in the course book. A formal
test is not required.
Confirmation
by the Austrian Computer Society (OCG)
Upon
request the OCG also issues an official confirmation
to the candidate after the course.
PC-Start
Course book
At the
moment two publishers offer PC-Start course books. They are available from our
online-bookshop or directly in the OCG office.
At the moment this programme is only available in
German.

Training
We
recommend attending a PC-Start course to make the most of the programme. Such
courses are offered by computer training centres that have been authorised by
the OCG.
