The module Clientside Scripting (JavaScript) is the fourth module of the OCG WebPublisher. For the successful completion of this module the OCG certificate “Clientside Scripting (JavaScript)” is awarded.
You have acquired basic programming knowledge and practical handling skills of a script language to create interactive websites. You shall be able to use the most important language elements like variables, operators, conditional statements, loops, functions and to define their own objects correctly. You shall understand the object model of JavaScript and know how to use the predefined objects with their properties and methods.
The module concludes with the concept of event handling with the Event Handler, onLoad, onMouseover, onMOuseout and onClick.
