Every year, the OCG awards the OCG Förderpreis-FH to promote outstanding achievements in the field of computer science and business informatics.

This year, the jury once again selected two Master's theses from the numerous prize-worthy projects. We congratulate

• Janine Mayer (FH Upper Austria, Campus Hagenberg) for her thesis "Volumetric Data Interaction in AR Using a Handheld Touch-Sensitive Tablet" and 
• Johannes Fessler (FH Technikum, Vienna) for "Research and Implementation of Congnitive Load based Virtual Reality Training Simulation for Peadiatric Medical Emergencies"

for their outstanding achievements!

The award ceremony is expected to take place during the Austrian Computer Science Day on June 14, 2024 in Vienna. Both award winners will be invited by the OCG to present their work in the first OCG Journal 2024 (Young Researchers in Austria).
