The Workgroup HCI&UE of the Austrian Computer Society (OCG) serves as a platform to promote this subject. The topic of the second symposium of the Workgroup is usability in e-learning. With the increase in the use of digital media for education, it is now essential to combine Informatics and Educational Sciences. Consequently, the aim of the second symposium brings new challenges: Matching three fields in order to shed light on digital media from three different perspectives: Media-informatics, Media-psychology and Media-education. The goal is to strengthen interdisciplinary research & development in order to generate clear benefits for the end-users.
