Fighting Fake News and Hate Speech on a Scientific Basis
Dear all,
Due to the pandemic situation, which caused some of the speakers to cancel their participation in the conference, and due to the parallel debate on "The aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine" in the plenary of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, which caused literally no registration of Congress delegates, we are sorry to postpone the conference to a later date.
The debate and the live statement of President Zelenskyy via video in the debate is a priority for the delegates which we fully understand.
We will, in accordance with the Congress and with our dear host and partner, Rector Beck, announce a new date in May or June 2022.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Best regards,
Robert Müller-Török on behalf of the organizers
Venue:
Planned: University of Public Administration Kehl, Kinzigallee 1, D-77694 Kehl
Our back-up venue - in case of the Federal Republic of Germany imposing border checks and/or border proceedings and requirements disabling the preferred venue due to the pandemic - is the Palais d’Europe in Strasbourg.
In Baden-Württemberg participants must have valid proof of covid-vaccination or recovery (as of 2 March 2022).
Date/Time
Note: March 22, 2022 is canceled.
