TrainDL Summit: Bringing education, science and politics together

Young people are constantly confronted with digital technologies in their everyday lives. They should therefore learn to evaluate them critically and use them effectively. Together with partners from Germany, Austria and Lithuania, the team of the "Teacher Training for Data Literacy & Computer Science Competences" project, TrainDL for short, has set itself the goal of developing educational concepts for data literacy and artificial intelligence (AI) skills and anchoring them in teacher and school education. For two intensive days, the TrainDL Summit in Berlin focussed on the topics of data literacy, AI literacy, Informatics4all, CS education and teacher training. The summit marked the conclusion of the project funded by the EU Erasmus+ EACEA/38/2019 programme and presented recommendations for education policy and many findings from practical work with teachers.
