The CEPIS Legal and Security Issues (LSI) expert group brings together experts from CEPIS Member Societies to provide independent professional expertise on IT-related legislation and cybersecurity issues (Legal and Security Issues expert group – CEPIS). Chair: Prof. Kai Rannenberg, Secretary Prof. Marko Hölbl. 
The group’s main activities are developing, discussing and promoting CEPIS opinions on current cybersecurity issues and communicating them to the relevant institutions. The group also actively participates in other cybersecurity-related organisations, such as ENISA and ECSO
The next CEPIS Meeting will be held on Vienna, joining in the celebrations of the 50 years of the Austrian Computing Society OCG. 
The Symposiom takes place on Friday, 16 May 2025, 10-16 hours, Heinz Zemanek Saal, Wollzeile 1, 1010 Wien. Online participation is possible. The zoom link will be distributed shortly before the meeting. 
Conference language: English, comments in German are possible.
